EUROPE Pulls Out Of Norway's KOPEVIK Festival

Swedish rockers EUROPE have cancelled their May 31 appearance at the Kopevik Festival in Norway as a result of the sudden passing of guitarist John Norum's wife, Michelle Meldrum. "The band sends their love and support to the couple's son and Michelle's family and friends," EUROPE writes in a statement.

Meldrum passed away on May 21 as a result of a cystic growth on her brain that had restricted oxygen and blood flow to her brain, rendering her braindead.

Meldrum, 39, is survived by her parents and her three-year-old son with John Norum, Jake Thomas.
